Background of what I'm doing
I'm currently using Unity Asset UMA 2.5 base meshes and following a tutorial on YouTube about creating content for UMA. Unfortunately, I'm a bit bumped because the Blender interfaces and the menus he was configuring is different than mine. So I had trouble continuing with the tutorial because I can't achieve what he is doing.
How I can rig this imported Beret hat into the bones of the mesh? So when I move it the bones (e.g. head) it will also be rigged with the movements?
On the tutorial, I selected the Base Mesh -> then Selected the Beret hat and go to Weight Paint and the problem is the interface is different than what I'm following on the tutorial so from there I'm lost.
I'm trying to attach the Beret hat to the head that if I move the head, it also move with the head.
And another thing, I'm just starting with Blender so please bear with me. Thank you so much for your time! Meanwhile, I'm just gonna explore other threads.
