We are looking into moving our file server to Sharepoint online, but I can't find clear documentation on the storage allocation in Sharepoint. Our file server has roughly 6TB of data on it.
If I log onto the Sharepoint site, click on the settings icon, select "Site setting", then go to "Storage Metrics" under "Site collection administration", it shows me that I have 25TB available. See image below.
This is where I'm getting confused. Do I have 25TB or 1.2TB of space to use? Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask, but Microsoft support is very difficult to get hold of.
