We are running small python project in Ubuntu, now we want to package the python program as Debian build. Just followed this tutorial. to take a build, but unfortunately, I am encountering following error while trying to package.

Input as command

dpkg-buildpackage -b

ERROR

dpkg-genchanges -b >abcd_2.1_amd64.changes
dpkg-genchanges: binary-only upload - not including any source code
dpkg-genchanges: error: cannot fstat file abcd_2.1_amd64.deb: No such file or directory
dpkg-buildpackage: error: dpkg-genchanges gave error exit status 2

One more question is it possible to install the Debian in centos?
