editor functions.php not saving after trying to manipulate the query hook

by neoDev   Last Updated April 04, 2018 00:08 AM

I was trying to manipulate the query hook to filter the contents coming from db, but something went wrong using the following code and now the website shows 404 and I cannot longer save changes that I made in appearance -> editor -> theme child -> functions.php

add_filter('query', 'my_filter');
function my_filter($data){
    $output = '';
    return $output;

I cannot temporarily change theme because it will lose the actual settings, and I don't have access to the host, FTP, etc

How can I do?
